Double Pin Cradle Hitch
The Double Pin Cradle Earth Drill hitch is to suit standard and quick hitch solutions on most excavators & backhoes. The use of a Cradle hitch is recommended by Auger Torque as it will eliminate Auger swing during dirt shake off, will enable you to safely transport your Earth Drill and Auger on site and will also help you in lining up your holes with precision.
Just like all Auger Torque products only the highest grade steel is used in the fabrication of this style hitch.

Locking Kit
Double Pin Cradle Hitch – Lock Kit
The locking kit included with the package offer is an additional “add-on” component to our standard crale hitches. This allows the user to “lock” the drive unit and splitter cone to the excavator mount enabling the log splitter attachment to work in the same manner as a dedicated splitter such as a Lasco or Black Splitter.
This gives the user the same log splitting capabilities as a dedicated unit with the advantgae of increaed torque for splitting wood the the ability to quickly change to an auger attachment.
Just like all Auger Torque products only the highest grade steel is used in the fabrication of this style hitch.

Splitter Cone
MVE Log Splitter Cone – 250mm Diameter
- Suitable for Excavators from 2.5-5 Tonnes and skidsteer Loaders
- Easily fit to your existing drill (65mm round hub)
- Replaceable tip, cone supplied with 1 tip as standard

Excavator make and model: Sany SY27 with Auger Torque 3500MAX and range of Tungsten Augers / Log Splitting Cone
Mouse Valley is very efficient and ‘does what it says on the tin’! I have yet to try the auger but the cone splitter works very well. All credit to both companies.
The cone splitter works great, fast enough and powerful enough, tried it out on some big ash logs, breaking down big timber is what we will do most of.
Auger 450mm does well in clay, struggles with Cotswold brash, will be fine for us planting small trees.
